Bengaluru, here is some good news for you. Snapdeal has started a new service where it will allow users to order cash and have it delivered at their doorstep. They have labelled it as “goodwill gesture” where users will not have to stand in queues at banks or ATM’s. You will be charged re1 as convenience fee which you can pay through the e-wallets debit cards at the time of booking the order.
To get the money you will have to swipe your ATM card on the PoS machines which will be carried by the delivery guys. Once the transaction is successful you will be given Rs 2000. One can request up to Rs 2000 per booking. The company said that they will use the cash which they receive through Cash on Delivery (CoD).
The service has currently gone live in Bangalore and Gurgaon. But Snapdeal says they be extended to other major cities in the coming days.
